Report Abuse

1. How to Report

Email [email protected] about spam, attacks, scanning, phishing, malware, illegal content, or other violations of the Acceptable Use Policy that involve an IP address, domain, or service hosted by bashrack. This address is our single point of contact for abuse and illegal-content notices, including notices from authorities. Write in English where possible.

Include as much of the following as you can:

  • the IP address, hostname, or exact URL concerned;
  • date, time, and time zone of the activity;
  • evidence such as log lines, full email headers, or screenshots (text, not archives with executables);
  • why you believe the content or activity is unlawful or abusive;
  • your name and email address, so we can follow up.

We use your report to investigate and may forward it to the customer responsible, without your contact details unless you agree or the law requires otherwise. Automated reports in ARF or X-ARF format are welcome.

2. Copyright and Other Rights

A notice of infringement should contain:

  • identification of the work or right that you claim is infringed;
  • the exact URL or location of the infringing material;
  • your contact details;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, with your physical or electronic signature.

A customer whose material was removed may send a counter-notice to the same address explaining why the removal was a mistake. Knowingly false notices may create liability. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

3. What Happens Next

We review reports in order of severity. Illegal content and active attacks may be blocked immediately; other reports are normally forwarded to the customer with a deadline to respond. The customer is told which resource was restricted and why, unless the law or an investigation prevents it. We do not always reply to every reporter individually.

4. Law Enforcement

Authorities can send orders and requests to [email protected]. We disclose customer data only where a valid legal process requires it or where necessary to prevent imminent harm, and we may preserve data while a request is being formalized.

5. Child Sexual Abuse Material

Report child sexual abuse material to [email protected] and to your national hotline or law enforcement. Do not send the material itself; send only the location. We remove such material and report it to the competent authorities.
